Madmoon Service

 Express Mail Madmoon service is one of the new Saudi Post services, which provides insurance coverage for official documents such as passports, Iqamas, Credit Cards, educational certificates, checks and contracts, Madmoon is optional service ,saves citizens and residents a lot of effort, time , money, travel or hardship of going to some of the various governmental departments, Saudi Post has opened many offices in some governmental authorities, and Islamic courts, that there is insurance coverage to all foreign and domestic mails, according to the desire of the user, because Madmoon service is distinguished by the existence of insurance on the dispatched items, which contain official documents, and covers up to ten thousand riyals, the service also provides insurance coverage to the contents of the packages up to 35 thousand riyals ,that Madmoon service is distinguished by incentive costs to use the service, which is 3 riyals on the real dispatched Items ,which contain documents, but dispatched Items containing other materials ,is to be calculated 1% of the value of insurance.

The aim of presenting the service is the diversification of products and services offered by Express Mail sector, to meet the needs of an important segment of our customers and attracting new customers.

 Service Range

Madmoon is optional service and is to be applied to all internal and external dispatched Items, according to the addressee's desire.

 Documents Covered by Madmoon Service: 

• Originals of the official documents such as passports, Iqamas, civil cards, on one condition that they are valid.
• Originals of educational and professional certificates, as well as checks and contracts of property.
  

 Instructions and Insurance Requirements:

• It can be insured on the important documents such as governmental documents like passports and civil ID documents provided that these documents are valid, as well as educational certificates and contracts of ownership and whatever of this type of documents.
• The insurance could be on packages, which contain gifts or samples of goods or commercial goods provided by attaching the approved bill, which illustrates the value of content.
• The maximum insurance on documents is ten thousand riyals, and on parcels is Thirty-five thousand riyals.
• It is required to provide the item to the Express Mail window of contents insurance.
• In case of loss or damage of documents in the whole or part, which prohibits the benefit from the item, the compensation amount is equivalent to get the allowance plus a lump sum to compensate the other direct costs, which is four hundred riyals and a maximum of ten thousand riyals for the contents of one item  (per packet
  

 Insurance is not deserved in the following cases: 

• If the loss or damage has been caused by a case of prominent force.
• Lack of normal weight.
• Cases of fraud, leading to the overstatement of the value of content.
• Non- inquiries about the item during the ordered time.
• Self- damage of the item because of the nature of its contents.
• Fault or neglect of the consignor or the consignee.
• Confiscation or destruction of the item, by the customs authority or any other governmental authority
